How do I buy a gift membership?
You can purchase in-store, just ask our librarians.
Or you can buy online.
How do I activate a gift membership?
Membership starts when the recipient activates it. This means if you give purchase the gift in December, and give the gift at Christmas, the membership won’t actually start until the recipient either emails us or comes in-store for their first appointment. Therefore no membership time is lost. Membership starts when the recipient starts borrowing toys.
Memberships should be activated within 6 months.
A gift membership is valid for 1 year after the purchase date.
How much does it cost?

Can you post the gift membership to me or my recipient?
Yes we can post it to you or your chosen recipient. The gift is perfectly designed to fit through the letter box and the cost for P&P will be added at the checkout.
Do I have to live in Lewisham to buy a gift membership?
No, anyone can buy a gift membership. But the person receiving the gift must live in the Lewisham Borough in order to become a member and benefit from the toy library.

If you require the item to be posted to you, or to the recipient, please select the P&P option as there is a small charge for the P&P to cover our costs. We will then email you to request the postage address. We use Royal Mail so please bear in mind the affect of postal strikes which may delay deliveries.
If you do not require postage and packaging you will need to pick up the gift membership in-store.
